The Peninsula Mountain range stretches 50km from Table Mountain to the Cape of Good Hope, the South Western tip of Africa.

Grading - Fit legs, stamina, ascents & descents & long walking days

Our walk begins by ascending Table Mountain and ends at Cape Point traversing the Peninsula Mountain chain that has been incorporated into the new Table Mountain National Park. This is an important part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and incorporates 2,600 species of flowering plants, which is more than found in the whole of the UK, as well as being home to small mammal and beautiful bird species.

The walk provides stunning and dramatic views across “the two oceans” – The Atlantic Ocean and False Bay. It includes walks across beautiful white beaches and along spectacular cliffs. It affords views of Robben Island, Cape Town city, and the winelands as well as sweeping views of the mountains across False Bay.

While days are spent walking above the city in pristine fynbos, nights are spent in the comfort of well-appointed hotels and lodges, allowing participants to enjoy the famous Cape cuisine and warm hospitality.

The emphasis is on enjoying world class walking while learning about the unique flora, geology and ecology of the Cape Peninsula Mountains.

The walk is fully supported by vehicle, so that participants need carry only the most basic requirements of water and foul weather clothing while their luggage is transported to that night's accommodation.
