The following is a typical list of what might be required while you are on safari or on holiday in South Africa. It is advisable to wear a number of thin layers to peel off as the day heats up.

On safari mornings and evenings can be chilly so a hat, light head scarf advised, whilst Cape Town can be windy so a light jacket is required.

Clothing should be in neutral colours for your safari.

A 300mm zoom lense is adequate for wildlife photography. It is possible for recharging of batteries on the vehicle, but spares advisable.
